Lauth, one of the nation's leading developers and contractors, today announced it has closed on the land for one of area's largest distribution parks. Westpoint Business Park will feature ten Class-A distribution buildings, totaling over 7.1 million square feet. Westpoint will be strategically located on 555 acres in the Plainfield submarket at I-70 and State Road 39. It offers easy access to the I-70 and I-65 distribution corridors and the Indianapolis International Airport. "Westpoint offers a great location and tremendous financial benefits to potential tenants," says Tag Birge, Regional Director of Midwest Development at Lauth. "The low tax rate of the local community makes Westpoint more affordable than many other new bulk distribution centers in the area." The park allows for significant flexibility. Buildings will range in size from 500,000 SF up to 1.4 million SF. Westpoint will rank as one of the state's largest industrial parks and it will enhance Central Indiana's position as one of the nation's leading distribution hubs.ber.com News Feed
