DATE, TIME, & PLACE OF EXAMINATION: Wednesday, January 4th, 2009, 6:30 p.m. in the Cuyahoga Falls High School library, 2300 Fouth Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Registration will begin at 6:00 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire and must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a current, valid driver's license and is required to obtain a valid Commerical Driver's License within the probationary period.

NOTE: Applicant must be a United States citizen or provide proof of legal residency. In compliance with Federal Law, proof of employment eligibility is required within three days of employment. A list of required documents will be attached to the examination application. An applicant who receives a conditional offer of employment may be required to successfully complete additional job-related post offer review and/or testing.REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidates must refrain from using all tobacco products for the duration of employment with the City of Cuyahoga Falls.

Applicant must have the ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences and have the ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

Applicant must have the ability to complete basic math calculations and knowledge of basic electrical principles is a plus.

Applicant must possess the physical strength and agility required to frequently perform heavy manual labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and carrying a minimum of 40 lbs. and period
