• AireSurf Releases MegaFI(TM) Test Results
  TORONTO, ONTARIO--(eMediaWorld - Sept. 15, 2008) - Bryan D. Moir, CEO of AireSurf Networks Holdings Inc. ("AireSurf")(CNQ:AIRE), today released the latest test results of the company's MegaFI(TM) WiFi amplification system. The tests were conducted in a variety of atmospheric conditions and building types to obtain a baseline for customers installing the company's system. Using test equipment manufactured by one of the world's largest router manufacturers, and an omni antenna array, AireSurf amplified the WiFi signal from an access point to a radius of just under 700 meters during a heavy rainfall. This test proved that the unit was capable of extending the range of an access point/wireless router to cover an area 1.3 km in diameter. AireSurf plans to use these results to promote the use of the MegaFI(TM) system to companies involved in developing municipal WiFi networks and commercial hotspots.

Infonetics' report, Mobile Network Infrastructure Equipment and Subscribers, shows that the slight sequential increase in worldwide RAN equipment revenue was primarily driven by strong GSM deployments in India, China, and Africa, and by W-CDMA deployments in North America.
