  • Restored 1945 WC-51 Dodge Weapons Carrier & Spares For Sale - $11,900 More photos of the truck can be found at: http://www.surplustrucks.com/45WC51/45WC51.htm Clean, rust free truck with recent frame up restoration. Looks and runs great. Step by step photos of rebuild can be found at: www.surplustrucks.com/WC/WC.htm Sale Includes: * NOS winter cab top (canvas) * Extra WWII engine (T214 – running) * Numerous spare parts (see link at top) * Delivery along I-15 corridor from Idaho Falls, ID to Long Beach, CA. * Can help arrange container shipping to Europe with California Shipping Co. - http://www.calship.com/ Have original hood number, data plates and build card (copy) from Chrysler. * Date Built: Feb 5th 1945 * Delivery Date: Feb 14th 1945 * Serial No: 81741239 * Body No: 171514 * Hood Number: 2285841S I found this truck in Lindsay California where it had been used on the Imoto Brothers farm since they bought from the military as surplus in the late 1940’s. The Imotos were Japanese Americans, and their family had been interned in Poston, AZ during WWII. Despite the internment, four of them served in the US Army with the highly decorated 442nd Regimental Combat Team during the war. So, while I suspect the truck never left the US, It was driven by members of one of the most decorated units in WWII. They didn't drive it into battle, but used it to help rebuild their farm and livelihoods after their family's internment and their service to our country. I'm proud to have had a chance to restore a vehicle these guys owned. The engine currently in it is a Dodge civilian production flat head 6 cylinder (same size/look as the T214, but not the right serial number). The T214 motor is included, and while it runs, it will need an overhaul (rings at least). The bed is from an earlier style WC-51, with steel sides and the larger storage box on the front driver's side… (by 1945, Dodge had changed to a composite bed with wood sides to save metal for the war.) The Imotos said this is the bed that was on it when they bought it surplus, so the swap was probably done as part of a depot level repair/rebuild program. I hate to see it go, but our oldest daughter started college this year and she has four siblings following close behind, so the hobby has to down size. Please call or email with any questions. • 1970 W200 Dodge $3,300 [CO] 1970 Dodge W200 truck. The truck was originally a D100, but has been converted to a 3/4 ton 4WD. Strong 383 with a cam that's a little hotter than an RV cam. Edelbrock manifold and carb, Mopar electronic ignition. The truck was put on a dyno to find proper jetting, then power tuned. Rebuilt automatic transmission with a shift kit. 3:55 gears. I replaced the front rubber brake lines about a year ago with the exact replacements (about $100), try finding those at NAPA, it won't happen. I have all the marker lights, Power Wagon emblems, bumpers and trim. I'd really like to sell it to someone who will finish the job. I also have extra: (2) 205 transfer cases, a 71 hood, a 71 grill, a 71 dash, an auto 318 radiator, a man 383 radiator, and a stubby small block 727. I'd like to get rid of it all at once, but will also sell parts separately. I'm asking $3,300/best offer for everything I have. Serious offers only. Cash only. Phone 303-989-5095 Greg.
