Dealerships around the country will want to conclude business in a rapid fashion today as they also have some last minute shopping of their own to do and want to be with their families. Last week harry Sent Senator Bob Coker a Letter about the Senate Automotive Bridge Loan Hearings where they got their hand on the Detroit Three's Business Plan to bring their respected companies back to the black. Of course the state of the economy and the fate of the American Automobile Manufactures have been a HOT topic on the show that is broadcast every weekday morning starting at 9:00 A.M. (EST). Snator, First of all, I will tell you that my callers were very amazed when the Wall St. and AIG T.A.R.P. money was approved after failing on the first vote. Senator Coker, I did not have one caller that was in favor of giving the Tax Payers money to these companies and financial entities. Then when Citi Bank came at the door asking for billions and getting it, well it kept my Phone Bank full. Senator Coker, I talk to the Automobile Executives all the time on Car Concerns. Just this past month, I had to be in the Sound Studio at 6:00 A.M. to conduct a interview with General Motors, Vice Chairman, Bob Lutz. We discussed the financial issues of that day as well as the Chevy Volt and the progress on the time-line to the market. He assured my audience that the Volt was right on time for a 2010 Intro Date. He said right on Car Concerns that the batteries were not an issue and they were performing well at the General Motors Milford Testing Grounds outside of Detroit. These Floor plans can amount to millions of dollars. This is one of the reasons that we are seeing long time dealers like Bill Heard shut the doors. Is it out of line for me to ask for your assistance in in going to the Congress to help out the new Car Dealers that are a big part of our economy as well as a big tax source for the States and Federal Government.
