  Searching for information on my GGF's sister: Hannah Maria Durham.
  Hannah Maria was the sister of Frederick Durham and daughter of Makin Durham and Hannah Maria Acaster - she was christened 4 Jun 1844, Thorne, England - married Frederick Vickers (date unknown) - 1880 British census has Frederick and Maria living in Ecclesfield, York, England with two children: Hilda age 10 (b. 1871) and Muriel age 4 (b. 1877) - Maria appears to have died at age 45 in 1890 and Frederick at age 47 in 1882. I am seeking information on this extended line of the Durham family and Makin Durham's line and hope that this Vickers-Durham line may be keeping records that can help me learn more about my English ancestry. I, of course, am willing to share all information on the Durham family in England that I have been able to locate. Thank you.

  Donald Vickers born 5-12-1926 Wife Audrey June (nee Fee) born 26-2-1932: Children Pauline Elizabeth born 8-8-1953, Angela Donna born 17-9-1956.
  
  Derek Vickers born 4-2-1935, Wife Cynthia (nee Walker) born 21-8-1935: Children Derek born 21-1-1954, Steven born 4-10-1960.
  
  Traveled on FAIRSTAR departing Southampton 18th Nov 1968 under Assisted Passage Migration Scheme. Location Canberra.
  
  I got the above informatiom from the Natoinal Archives of Australia, my Patner says they went to Adelaid.

• William Vickers - Riley Vickers Orange Co., NC Connection
  I am researching a Williams Vickers born 1801 Orange Co., NC who married Mary Beasley, daughter of Samuel and Mary (Hurdle) Beasley of Orange Co., NC. William and Mary Vickers moved to Gibson Co., IN between 1831 and 1832 based on the birthdates of their children.
  
  From all the notes I have gathered it looks like there is a possiblity he might have been Riley Vickers son, whose information is missing on The Vickers Family Resource Page, or at the very least someone closing related to him.
  
  I have collected a lot of information from Rootsweb, Orange Co., NC records, Gibson Co., IN records, LDS Records and The Vickers Family Resource Page.
  
  In my notes I have included records for the following families of Orange Co., NC and Gibson Co., IN: Beasley, Clinton, Hurdle, Ming, Warren, Vickers and Woods.
  
  I hesitate on posting the notes in the forum as of now they are eight pages of typed notes and I am still adding to them.
  
  If anyone would be willing to help me I will be glad to furnish them with my notes.

  My GGGG-grandfather was Jefferson Vickerswho was borni in Georgia and married Sarah Brasher in Alabama. I know that he served 2 yrs in the Civil War before he became too old to serve. His 2 oldest sons that served as well; John died in the seige of Vicksburg and Pete died in a northern prison camp. He and Sara had 7 children among them my GGGgrandfather, James Monroe Vickers, born 2/22/1849 in Alabama. He married Caldonia Pennington . James Monroe Vickers died 11/24/1931 and is buried in the Line Creek Cemetary, Scott County, Mississippi just outside of Rankin County's east side. I am trying to find more information such as his parents, where exactly he was born, and I would greatly appreciate any help at all. Thanks a million!

  George was possilby bor in So. Carolina, maybe GA or ALWe aren't sure because it is different on the Census reports and we can't find hi parents either. We Are at a brick wall and need help . He married 5 Oct 1848 Nancy Talbot Hicks and we are searching in Al for any records, But we need help with this search in So Carolina and GA so if you have any information to offer it will be greatly appreciated.
