  • Austin Lull
I am fairly new to the ancestry site, but I believe I am a descendant of Austin Lull. As far as I have gathered, Austin married Mariann and one of his children was Helen. I believe Helen gave birth to my great-grandmother, who became Jerusha Williamson. I am seeking any information, photos or interesting documents I can find.

  • William B Lull, Son of Rev. William Lull
I am looking for information on William B. Lull (Jr??), grandson of the methodist minister Rev. William Lull. I believe he married Kate Embree in Yonkers, NY in the 1920's and that he may have written an arcticle or book on Calamity Jane. If anyone has knowledge of his parents too, that would be helpful.

    Thank you.
  • George W. Lull, b. Hartland, Vermont 28 May 1830; died San Francisco 16 Apr 1899
Looking for parents/info on George Washington LULL. He came to California in the 1850s and settled finally in San Luis Obispo Co. near San Simeon (Hearst Castle area) prior to 1863. He married (his 2nd wife) in 1863 Mary Leah Barnhardt Inman. He tried his hand at cattle but after a draught was successful dry goods trader in Cambria until his death in 1899. He was taken to San Francisco for health reasons but died there. Buried Colma, San Mateo Co., CA, Cypress Lawn Cem. Death certificate unavailable due to 1906 quake in San Fran. Funeral under auspices of Masons & left local Hesperian Masons $$ in will. George's first wife died after one child, Lizzie Avery last referred to as being in Linn, Mass. She evidently did not come to California with him as a child. Would George be any relation to Lewis R. LULL who died in San Francisco 1894 and seems to have come to Marysville, CA at first?
Many thanks to Lull researchers who might help. I am member of historical society researching George as an early pioneer of Cambria.

Or Know's anything about the family please connect me
  • Herman Lull m. Cora Bush, 1900, Benton Harbor, Michigan
Herman Lull married Cora Bush in September 1900 in Benton Harbor, MI. I am interested in the family of Cora Bush, particularly her brother, James Henry Bush, and was wondering if anyone in the Lull family has any info on him, as a side note on their research. James was married in 1895 to a Hattie/Hettie B. Gogley, who appears to be a mystery. No information can be found on her. Their wedding certificate shows her parents & birthplace as "unknown". James went to Oregon & was married again in 1913. Any information on James & Hattie would be appreciated. Herman & Cora had at least 1 child, Lynn (born approx. 1904) & 1 grandchild, Lynn Patrick Lull, born about 1927 in Illinois.
So maybe someone in the Lull family knows something about Uncle James, gr-uncle James, etc, as a result of some research. Anything appreciated.
  • Ipswich, Mass. Site
    Ipswich, Mass. FISHERY
The Lull family had owned the buildings to take these fish and place them in barrels for the India Market.

Some years, individuals who bought the privilege of fishing, have caught a considerable number of alewives in Mile River, for the West India market.

For more information please visit http://john-slaughter.rootsweb.com/IpswichHistory/ To see your surnames use the Index, but take the time to READ this site it’s worth it.

  • New LULL board administrator
    Hello LULL researchers!

I have recently "adopted" the LULL message board but must admit, I am not researching the name...simply adopted it because I feel sorry for "orphaned" boards.

Right now I am in the process of "cleaning up" the board. The 3 fields an administrator can edit are: Subject, Classification and Surnames. I will be using the following guidelines and these should also be followed when posting a message:

Subject: Be as specific as possible and try to include the 3 W's: Who, Where and When. Subjects such as "LULL", "Family History" and "Genealogy" will be changed to properly reflect what is in the post itself.

Classification: If you are asking a question, use the Query. If you are posting data, choose the appropriate type (Birth, Death, Cemetery, etc.) *unless* the data is of more than one type. In that case, choosing either Biography or Lookup is the best option. Lookup can also be used for negative results (such as: "I looked for Henry LULL in the 1860 Cass Co., Missouri census and couldn't find him")

Surnames: Oh, such an **important** field! This field serves as an index for every message on every Ancestry/RootsWeb message board. This field should *only* contain those surnames mentioned in the post, separated by commas. Please include ALL the surnames mentioned in the post without any extraneous words (such as "many more", "and", "etc." or any other word that is not a surname).

The following posts will be moved to more appropriate boards:
off-topic (anything that does not relate to the LULL name)
    DNA announcements

And, of course, these will be dele
