The CICS Support Team will:
Install / Debug CICS Transaction Server and administer
Receive CICS System Software and maintenance from the IBM National Build or from the appropriate vendor for OEM software. Mainview CICS Skills
Install corrective fixes to CICS system software and related products as required to support and maintain the environment. ACF2 Expertise
Provide performance and tuning in response to reported problems. Cobol Compiler Expertise
Create and maintain the startups for the CICS regions. SMPE Skills
Create and maintain the CICS journals and logs that are associated with the CICS regions. CEMT Skills

Provide technical services during Disaster Recovery testing.

Description The candidate for the roll of production IMS system support must posses the following skills:
Production system software support for IMS. This position is responsible for overall support/integrity of various versions of IMS subsystems on Mainframe
Ability to code JCL and execute base MVS utilities (e.g., IEBCOPY, etc.) in a JES2 environment.
Objectives Working knowledge of the IBM IMS Database Tools product set.
The objectives of a Production IMS System Support :
Working knowledge of DBRC.
Provide 24x7 support of a large IMS environment running in a DBCTL datasharing environment.
Working knowledge various versions of IMS and IMS implementation in a datasharing environment.
Maintain the integrity of the production IMS system's as it relates to the customer's application's.
Working knowledge of Neon System's Partitioned Data Facility (PDF).
Applying periodic software maintenances and corrective PTFs
