Perot Systems is currently looking for a Claims Operations Manager to join the Insurance Operations team in Lincoln, NE.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides operational support for activities associated with all phases of the claims process.
- Ensures accurate and timely payment of claims to meet or exceed customer service level agreements.
- Properly adjudicate claims based on knowledge of covered benefits, insurance and provider contracts.
- Identify and resolve issues around pended claims.
- Provides leadership to the claims operations. Establishes and monitors production goals of department. Oversees department to ensure goals are met and production and services levels adhere to established quality standards.
Required Skills:
- Requires minimum of 5-8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Life products and preferably claims experience with annuities, disability, health and long term care.
- Experience managing multiple supervisors and teams.
- Experience in dealing with external customers.
Desired Skills
- Experience managing or participating in project implementations.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- High School Graduate
Minimum Certifications or Professional Credentials:
- LOMA coursework or any other insurance continuing education programs is preferred (CEBS, HIAA, etc), as any education in formal mgmt development/training programs

Job Responsibilities:
- Responds to clients, policyholders, and agents via phone, in writing, or in person.
- Assists in day-to-day workflow to administer client business in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with company and client procedures and production schedules.
- Process debits/credits to ledger accounts, perform account balancing functions, process bank reconciliations, and other various accounting related functions
- Acts as a knowledgeable professional representative of the company.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience in the accounting field, accounting degree or education, or combination of both are required.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, various accounting software programs, keyboarding skills, email, and Internet knowledge.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
