SUMMARY Provide administrative support for attorneys and management in legal office. Complete tasks relevant to overall law office administration including, but not limited to, typing and preparation of legal correspondence and documents (from both dictation and written notes), creating and maintaining attorney calendars using electronic diary entry and case management systems, scheduling appointments and meetings, organizing and maintaining legal files, and responding to client requests, with significant supervision and guidance from attorney(s) supported. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ¿Accurately prepare routine forms, pleadings, memoranda and other documents for attorneys, of moderate complexity from dictation, drafts or handwritten notes, utilizing Microsoft Word and/or case management system. ¿Compose routine correspondence and other documents from attorney¿s direction. ¿Proficiently utilize case management system for electronic data management of legal files as directed by department procedures and protocols. ¿Receive and docket incoming mail for attorney(s) as mandated by office procedures, ¿Create, maintain and manage attorney diaries and court calendars, utilizing electronic diary and case management systems. ¿Maintain legal files in accordance with legal program and office standards. ¿Acts as a liaison between clients and attorneys by furnishing and requesting information on various files. Participates positively in resolution of problems. ¿Schedules depositions, court reporters, independent medical examinations, pre-trial conferences, etc. and select appropriate dates while working with multiple parties¿ schedules. Monitor calendars and coordinate updates and adjustments as needed. ¿Assist other secretaries and support staff personnel as requested. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE ¿High School Diploma or its equivalent required. ¿Associates Degree or vocational secretarial training is helpful. ¿Minimum 3 years experience as a Legal Secretary desired; litigation experience preferred. ¿Minimum 3 years experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant in an automated office environment required.     SUMMARY:
    Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve claims. Satisfy customer needs and ensure file quality.

    PRIMARY DUTIES:
    Provide voice-to-voice contact within 24 hours of first report. Handle low to moderately complex cases. Settlement authority will vary. Obtain facts to evaluate coverage, negligence, medical necessity and causation/damages. Identify subrogation opportunities; handle adverse subrogation and arbitration. Establish and maintain appropriate claim and expense reserves. Handle litigation on low-exposure cases. Develop litigation plan with staff or panel counsel, and track and control legal expenses; Review conciliations and prepare submissions for arbitration hearings. Assure cost-effective resolution. Provide quality customer service. Comply with state specific regulations. Recognize and forward appropriate files to SIU. Manage deductibles and wages. Recognize additional coverage issues (i.e. OBEL & XPIP) as well as jurisdictional issues. Manage medical payout and return-to-work strategies through IMEs and Peer Reviews. Perform any other duties as required.

    EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY: College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

    SUMMARY:
    Demonstrate proficiency in first party estimating, investigation, evaluation and negotiation at the most reasonable cost. Satisfy customer needs and ensure file quality.

    PRIMARY DUTIES:
    Handle 1st party Property claims of moderate complexity as assigned. Complete field inspection of losses including accurate scope of damages, photographs, written estimates and/or computer assisted estimates. Investigate and evaluate all relevant facts to determine coverage, damages and liability of first-party property damage claims. Establish timely and accurate claim and expense reserves. Negotiate and convey claim settlements within authority limits. Write denial letters, Reservation of Rights and other complex correspondence. Control damages through proper usage of cost containment tools. Meet all quality standards and expectations per Best Practices. Maintain an effective diary system and document claim file activities in accordance with established procedures. Manage file inventory to ensure timely resolution of cases. Handle files in compliance with state regulations, where applicable. Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of the insured, agent and all other internal and external customers. Identify and refer claims with MCU exposure to the supervisor. Recognize when to refer claims to Special Investigations Unit and/or Subro Unit. Perform admin
