  • May Meeting

    Our May meeting will take place on Tuesday May 8th, when Colin Whittaker of Magnet Networks will be talking to us about "The realities of building an LLU network in Ireland".

    The talk will be held in the HEAnet offices at the IFSC in the city centre and will start at 19:00. Following the talk, we will retire to
    a nearby pub which has yet to be decided for food and drinks. If you are planning on attending, please email Conall O'Brien by Tuesday morning, so that building security can expect you.

  • April Meeting

    Our April meeting will take place this coming Tuesday, April 10th at 19:00. Sam Johnson, CTO of Microcost will be talking to us about "Google Apps: On in 60 seconds" and will be sharing a few tips and tricks he has used, working with Google Apps.

    This talk is being hosted in association with the TCD Networking Society (NetSoc) and will take place in the Robert Emmet theatre, on the ground floor level of the Trinity College Arts Block off Nassau St.

  • March Meeting

    Our March Meeting includes a talk called "The Big Lies in System Administration: Truths That Aren't" to be presented by Lee Damon.

    For those of you who don't know him, Lee Damon is a veteran sysadmin with over 20 years experience working in IBM, Gulfstream Aerospace,
    QUALCOMM and currently works in the University of Washington Electrical Engineering department. He is a charter member of LOPSA and SAGE, past chair of the SAGE Ethics and Policies working groups, and he was the chair of LISA '04.
